Good Afternoon everyone!

What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

You may have come here from Linda Craven's blog or maybe this is your first stop. Anyway I hope you enjoy seeing all the creations we have for you today.

Vicki's Bicki bags
Why I hear you say are these called Vicki's Bicki bags because my 6 year old daughter said they were.  I have been looking to make something for a while that you can put biscuits in at Christmas I make a lot of Espresso shortbread and thought this was the ideal bag to put them in.  I was surfing blogs looking for a template I could use but none of them were right for what I wanted so I decided why do I need someone else's template when I can do it myself so several sheets of copier paper later I came up with my bag with a window in it.  It also used a full sheet of 12 x 12 DSP (many bags I had seen were smaller than 12 x 12 - I hate cutting up DSP and cutting off bits doesn't work for me - why waste bits on the side when you can make it that little bit bigger. So here is the finished bags.

Materials
Paper: Holiday Treasures DSP
Cardstock: Ruby Red, Whisper white
Ink: Ruby Red
Bigshot: Lots of Tags Sizzlit
Other: Rhinestone brads, Mat pack, Scallop Circle punch, Large Star punch,  Wide Oval Punch, Sticky Strip, glue dots, acetate sheets, velcro dots, Linen Thread.

This is a side view so you can see what they look like from the side.

Christmas Coloured Flower Pin

I also wanted to make a Flower pin and thought I'd do it in Christmas colours and was thinking I didn't have any buttons that matched so I thought lets try a build-a-brad so I dusted them off (yes they have been sitting there I was wondering what I should do with them).  So here is my Christmas coloured Flower Pin made using polar fleece and the bigshot.

Materials
Stamps: Season of Joy
Cardstock: Whisper white
Bigshot: Circles #2, Leaves #2
Ink: Riding Hood Red
Other: Build-a-brad, Snail, Red Polar Fleece, Green Polar Fleece, needle and sewing thread, Pin backing.

Well that's it from me I'd love to hear what you think of my projects.

So now you can hop off and see what Sonia Garbutt has been creating (make sure you scroll down the page a bit to get her post).

It doesn't matter where you joined the hop click on the link above to Sonia's blog and then carry on through the blog hop until you get back to where you started.

Happy hopping
Vicki

  8. Love you bicky bags, so pretty with the dsp and window. I am the same with my dsp, would rather use a whole sheet than end up with scraps that never get used :)

  11. Thanks everyone for your lovely comments :-).

I don't know how to reply to each of your replies so will put it all in one:

Richelle I've been putting through 4 layers of polar fleece at once with no problems.......

Claire the instructions are one creative mess on my tables :-) I will eventually write them up in a readable format.

Leonie - Espresso shortbread is very nice :-) I only ever make it at Xmas as the kids can't eat it so it's too much of a temptation around here :-)

Thanks everyone else for your comments about my bags I'm actually really pleased how they turned out.
