Scallop Square Pen Caddy

For quite some time I have had some undecorated cans on my desk and thought it was time to have a proper pen caddy, when I saw the New Scallop Square Sizzix Die I thought I would make a pen caddy.

Materials
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz
Designer Series Paper: Greenhouse Gala
Bigshot: Bigz Clear Die Scallop Square
Other:  Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon, Tombow Multi, Crop-a-dile Basic, DSP backing board

What I did was I cut out two scallop squares using backing board from DSP and then layered a Scallop Square of Greenhouse Gala on the front and Pear Pizzazz on the inside.  I punched out holes to thread the ribbon through using the crop-a-dile you use several metres of ribbon to lace it all up.

Santa Box Bag

Materials
Cardstock: Real Red, whisper white, basic black, pink pirouette.
Bigshot: Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Square Lattice
Ink: Pink pirouette
Punches: Two-step Bird, Scallop Edge Border, 1 3/4" Circle,  3/4" circle, 1/2" circle, 1 3/8" circle, round tab.
Other:  Organza Ribbon whisper white, White gel pen, tombow glue, stamping sponges.

Square Scallop Birthday Card

Materials
Cardstock: Real Red, whisper white, old olive, daffodil delight.
Stamps: Curly Cute
Bigshot: Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Square Lattice, Bigz Clear Scallop Square die
Ink: Old Olive
Punches: Two-step Bird, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Itty Bitty Shapes
Other:  Bitty Buttons, Smooch Spritz Gold Glow

Ok I think I got a little carried away with the Smooch spray you probably don't need to use as much as I did ...... in real life it is quite golden and sparkly.  To make the flower on the front I have used two of the 2 3/8" Scallop circles and scored down between the petals and then valley and mountain folded it.  Glue the two together and put an itty bitty punch and button on the centre.

I hope I've given you some inspiration to make something with the new products from the Summer Mini Catalogue.

Thanks for stopping by.

So now you can hop off and see what Teresa Leggo has been creating.

  6. Wonderful projects, Vicki. I could do with one of those lovely caddies to keep my desk a little tidier, but I'm not sure I have the patience for all the punching and threading!
